History
Kalbe Abid Memorial School, an English medium school was established in July 2000, under Kalbe Abid Educational and Welfare Society. It has affiliation from Uttar Pradesh Board.
The school is located in an area predominantly populated by Shia Muslims, with a population of approximately 500,000 people within a 6-kilometer radius. Most of the families belong to the lower-middle class and primarily earn their livelihood through hand embroidery work. Due to their limited income, these families struggle to afford the significant educational expenses required for quality education today. As a result, our school charges only a minimal fee to cover the necessary expenses and ensure the school operates effectively.
How We Do It!
- Our teaching methodology is rooted in Maria Montessori's play-way approach. The classroom is enhanced with colourful furniture and walls adorned with pictures, creating an engaging and vibrant environment for students.
- We charge only one-third of the fees typically required by other English medium schools to make education accessible for the children in this area, helping them improve their living standards through learning.
- Our school provides a nurturing environment where students gain knowledge not just about the world but also about the hereafter.
- Theology is a mandatory subject up to the 8th grade, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive education in their faith. Additionally, we are developing a project that encourages hands-on learning.
